  Do you have coconut oil recipes that does not involve knives?

  i have been encouraging my mom to cook with coconut oil, it does help with her dementia symptoms sometimes.

  it is just not safe for people with dementia to use knives for cooking, thats why i need some recipe ideas.

  Further to jwleaks, I have used coconut cream in coffee, just using it as a replacement for milk, and I rather like it.

  Just don't fall out of the tree, or cut yourself on the grater. I have seen it in tins in our supermarket, but I do fresh.

  Keep it in a warm place, it is liquid above 76F

  Substitute it in baking. Bread made with coconut oil is nice.

  She could just eat it by the spoonful. If it's distasteful, it's bad oil, so find a new supplier, or extract it yourself. (Don't cut your hands on the grater )

  Assuming the flood story was true , did humans eat meat before the flood ?

  I tried out an old time JW on the sheep thing.

  Why were Adam's kids herding sheep if they didn't eat them?.

  #1 Clothing!! Me.. You don't have to kill a sheep to make clothes and what did they do with all the stuff they didn't make clothes out of??

  #2 They made cheese!! Me.. Where did they get their rennet from?? the corner dairy?? the supermarket??

  I'm still waiting for the answers.

  The nature I enjoy didn't require gods of any culture to invent, design, create, etc. and was here long before the gods of Middle Eastern tribes.

  'Jehovah', was invented by a Catholic monk in the 1700s. That just makes him a creation of us humans, not us a creation of his.

  The 'small world' That JW's find themselves in, where they find 'friends' in every continent, is the creation of humans with technology that humans created. Constantly remind them of that. My ancestors took months and years to circle the globe. Jumping on a plane to go back to the country of your birth on the other side of the planet is a blessing of mankind's efforts, not Jebooboo's rusty chariot.

  what most people fail to realize about 1914

  in 1914 a great war broke out and the jw's have used that to add credibility to their idea that jesus took over power in that year and satan was cast out to earth.

  what most people forget or do not realize is that jesus said there would be 'wars and reports of wars' but no big deal for the time was not yet.

  then of course the great tribulation would break out and would be a game changer, but in the 1960's the gb stopped saying the great tribulation started in 1914 and said its now a future event.

  Over the next year there are going to be many opportunities spoon fed to us by the media that we can use to point out that anniversaries of events that led to WWI occured before bad boy Satan got his butt kicked out of heaven to cause them.

  More evidence of fraud in 2nd Peter: Noah didn't preach, per Genesis 6

  thanks for reading the 3-part series on the contradictory characterization of lot in genesis vs 2nd peter, analyzing genesis 19 and comparing it to 2nd peter 2. in the articles, i took a step-by-step approach to show how 2nd peter's declaring lot as "righteous" was exactly the opposite goal of the author of genesis, since the point of the story is how unrighteous lot was saved not due to his righteousness, but on behalf of his righteous uncle abraham (the star of the torah).. of course, the book of 2nd peter is widely acknowledged by nt scholars to be a fraudulent work, written under a pseudonymous (fake) name in order to 'patch up' some loose ends in the torah, likely to support then-blossoming doctines of christianity.

  of particular interest to ex-jws is that one intent was to support the duty to warn others of the coming end of days, including the jw's beloved scripture, matt 28:19, that justifies their preaching work: "go thereforth and make disciples...." the only support for the claim that noah preached before the flood is found in 2nd peter, so it's a dubious claim.. in the latest article, i examine the flood account in genesis 6, showing how god had already condemned mankind even before he offered the covenant agreement to noah, so there's absolutely no reason for noah to be a "preacher of righteousness", as 2nd peter claims, since god's judgment had already been passed, and death sentence had been handed down.. .

  Sorry.... didn't read it. Too much for my attention span.

  Had a go at old time JWs on this one a few weeks ago. Got the stunned mullet look. 120 years of preaching with Jehovah's blessing and not one convert????? There are heaps of nutters with crazy doctrines that have followers. Charlie Manson had more converts than Noah with his 'helter skelter' and he was a right nutcase and it didn't take him 120 years. They agreed.

  Pointed out that Peter's statement only supported the notion that Noah was selected because he was a preacher of righteousness, not that he was given a commission to 'save' anyone by preaching a warning. They had nothing to offer in defence except excuses for a quick exit.

  The point I was trying to make was that the god their church believes in murders innocent babies and that that wasn't my idea of any god I found 'loveable', or particularly 'godlike'.

  Gorby's wife hospitalized, received surgery

  this week my wife was hospitalized and received surgery.

  we are happy she is allright now.

  Judge Rutherford and Edgar Casey, were they both friends?

  so humbling to know edgar casey along with many modern day "new agers" believe they are heading for the star system of the pleiadians after they die.

  a question for any edgar casey fans, do you think rutherford was involved with edgar casey and possibly paid for casey to perform a reading and go into a trance for him?

  there is too much of a coincedence to believe rutherford was unaware of edgar casey and other cults that followed the views of the american prophet casey.
